The Equipping Conference

Whether you are taking the first steps in intentional ministry among internationals or have been serving for years, you will be further equipped and encouraged. You will be motivated and encouraged as you learn from others who serve among international students and scholars at universities across the U.S.

Ministry among international students is done by individuals, members of a campus ministry or congregation, and as a collaboration by people from several congregations. 

Also open to those ministering among immigrants!

Sessions this year include:

• Leading Bible studies for international students - Rev. Eric Andrae
• Exploring Shame-Honor Cultures  - Katie Olszowy
• Ministering among Hindus - Linda Patel  
• Starting ministry among international Students and Scholars - Sue Hasselbring
• Sharing ministry tips  - Katie Olszowy
• Offering English classes for international students and their families - Katie Olszowy

The Equipping Conference is at Concordia University Irvine, on May 30 from 1pm to 8pm immediately following the LCMS-U Campus Ministry Staff Conference May 28-30.

The registration fee for the ISM Equipping Conference is $40 with accommodation at Irvine $70 paid through LCMS-U. Campus Ministry Staff Conference.  Registration closes May 23.
